At worst, they could inspire a bunch of sporadic nutcases spread thinly about the country. Those would be handled with everyday police responses. Jan 6 was their high-water mark.

Just the right amount of violent chaos concentrated in just a handful of cities could end up flipping several swing States from blue to red. All they really have to do is make it difficult to vote any other way but in person on election day and then make it feel unsafe to do so at select locations.

The aftermath of all that will look and smell rotten af, but they control the Supreme Court and absolutely do not care.
