Well… it’s DeSantis, but the analogy he’s making isn’t all that bad. Hamas has for a long time been lobbing missiles at random at Israel — an act of war and a war crime even leaving out their massacre cum kidnapping on October 7. If someone (like the Bahamas) were doing that to us, I doubt we’d just turn the other cheek.

(I expect his apparent glee at the prospect worried his Caribbean neighbors. And there’s no need to be specific about who might be doing it to make your point.)
