Capitol-storming former Paul Gosar intern hit with theft of government property charges
Conservative social media influencer Isabella Maria DeLuca was arrested over the weekend in Irvine, California, for her participation in the Jan. 6 attack on Congress.
The warrant, issued by Judge Robin Meriweather, was issued at the end of February, charging DeLuca with “theft of government property and aiding and abetting theft of government property, entering or remaining in restricted buildings or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly or disruptive conduct in the Capitol Building, and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol Building.”
According to the document filed online, the arresting officer indicated she was arrested on March 15.

>>This was a really useful [2023] story on how Manhattan Commercial real estate, even Class A office space, is in the toilet right now. I know he has residential holdings too but a lot of it would be worthless even if most companies don’t want to be in the Coup Guy Building
Can’t blame any company for not backing Trump to the tune of a cool half a billion.
1) Most of his assets are in property, if I’m not mistaken. Commercial real estate isn’t exactly a winning hand in today’s market.
2) Trump has repeatedly overvalued his properties, so there’s really no trustworthiness is there?
3) He is notorious for not paying much of anything, if not outright stiffing companies he owes money to, so any potential backers already know this and that shoots their trust level down to somewhere around absolutely zero.
4) Potential backers are given access to his financials when considering bond. Thirty different underwriters declined, which indicates (at least to me) that the value of his assets in total may not be sufficient to cover the bond amount.
I’d wager he is broke on paper. At some point, his lenders are going to say, “Enough!” and call in his outstanding debts because of his well-established patterns of deception and fraud. And at that point he will be broke - and not just on paper.
I won’t be surprised if Musk and several of his billionaire shitweasel friends get together and help Trump come up with the bond.

all of that previous stuff is just contributory
it’s the implication of this last part that’s been glossed over for years
because he focuses (and makes everyone else focus) on ‘value’ of the stuff he owns. and how big that number is.
for the most part, it’s meaningless by itself.
you have to know the encumbrances, liabilities, loans, liens etc, to have the full picture. assets as well as liabilities.
he’s not ‘broke on paper’. he’s broke. i’d venture has been for a long time.
when the assets are mostly fixed / real estate, not much cash, and the value exceeds liabilities, you have no net worth (equity), you’re broke.
if you cant meet the liabilities that are coming due, you’re insolvent.
and if you cant find any new sources of revenue or financing, you’re done.
there’s no new revenue stream to tap or create
campaign fundraising isnt enough to cover the judgments. never could. plus it’s going to legal fees anyway.
and no one wants to loan him anything.
this is not ‘paper’ broke.
this is broke.
Trump is going to be forced into another bankruptcy.

Everybody makes fun of him for running his casinos into the ground to the point where he declared bankruptcy, but if you think about it in this context, it makes all the more sense. He’s so broke, he leveraged a casino to the hilt, somehow lost money on it, and was forced to declare bankruptcy to pull his ass out of the hole he dug for himself because he was counting on a casino’s inherent profitability to keep him afloat and he fucked it up.
Putting today’s news together:
After admitting in court that he has been striking out with legitimate sources of liquidity, Trump is looking to rehire Paul Manafort, a convicted money launderer with deep ties to Russian oligarchs interested in influencing US politics.

Anthony Jeselnik, one of Trump’s roasters, also noted the same thing during a conversation with Joan Rivers on In Bed With Joan back in 2013. “Donald Trump’s rule was, don’t say I have less money than I say I do,” Jeselnik said. “Make fun of my kids, do whatever you want, just don’t say I don’t have that much money.”

There’s a reason why you can’t pay a credit card with another credit card. Along those same lines, if you keep getting loans to cover your loans, eventually, you’re either going to owe your kneecaps to a loan shark, or someone’s going to catch wise and deny you.

Crackhead Mike admits his “evidence” ain’t a slam dunk before the Supreme Court?!
‘We need your help!’ Mike Lindell panics as he realizes Supreme Court case is ‘long shot’
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell begged for donations Monday after he admitted the evidence he presented for Kari Lake’s election case did not “shock the world” as he had promised.
Lindell blamed the media after experts said his voting machine evidence was nothing new. Lake has asked the Supreme Court to rule that voting machines cannot be used in future elections after she lost her bid for governor in Arizona. Lindell and Lake have said voting machine companies caused her to lose.
“It’s an emergency injunction to expedite this case,” Lindell explained to conservative podcast host Steve Bannon. “What’s gonna come out now will be all the declarations and all the evidence to back up the case. So this is the second part of it. This was very much planned by our lawyers.”
“We need your help!” he said. “All this, any funds coming in, the offense fund, I’m always on the offense.”
“We need the Supreme Court case advertised,” Lindell insisted. “We need to get it out there. I’m gonna take funds. 100% of the money coming in is gonna go to help save our country. This, we really need your help now, War Room Posse. We’ve come this far.”
Bannon noted that Lake’s case was a “long shot.”
But in remarks to The Arizona Republic, Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer said he was not impressed by Lindell’s evidence.
“Same old crazy,” Richer said. “Zero percent chance the United States Supreme Court decides to spend its very limited time on something so crazy that it got sanctioned to the tune of $100,000-plus at the trial court level.”
Just watch the video and see how desperate that sick freak is!

It was all sunny and 72F out and then… suddenly clouds.
Looking at radar… oops there’s rain.
But it’s coming from the northeast.
Really odd for March.
In fall, when tropical lows head north and die over Arizona we can get rain clouds coming from the east.
But in March this is weird.

Feeling less and less like the San Diego of the good old days.

Trump’s all about appearance, it is the core of everything he does. From apartments that are more ostentatious than a French whorehouse to slapping his name on his private jet, everything is about asserting that he is Donald Trump and he is “better” than you because he’s richer than you. There is no way in hell that if he had the liquidity to put half a billion in escrow during the appeals or could secure a bond without issue that he would be in front of a judge, begging poverty and demanding he put a hold on the city’s plans to hold a massive fire sale of his assets.
Fundy parents angry they weren’t allowed to emotionally abuse their trans teen to her death denied appeal by SCOTUS, probably because the child survived to her adulthood thanks to being removed from their home, making the case moot.

And next week Louisiana will pass a bill telling social media sites they cannot be ‘woke’.
Because that’s just the sort of hypocritical idiots they are.

Bernie did a good job. I hope it works along with a good solid GOTV for Joe.
It’s all about being true to your ideals when you come down to it… if you oppose Netanyahu’s far right attacks, why not stand up in this country against the wannabe Netanyahu? Because believe me, if Trump gets re-elected to another term you can bet he’ll seek his own personal Gaza to destroy, and it might be as close as Mexico — or a city near you.

Obviously. A 93 year old man wouldn’t just up and die like that. We must choose which conspiracy to believe though. Was he killed because he knew the landings were fake? Or, was he really there on the Moon and “they” were afraid he would reveal the cool Nazi artifacts they found and brought back for reverse engineering? Or was it alien artifacts? Or were the Nazis aliens? Opinions seem to vary.
one of my favorite sci fi books/series revolved around astronauts finding a skeleton in a space suit on the moon.
I only read the first three books. The last two seemed to go a bit off the rails from what I read in reviews.
Another way to read Trump’s failure to secure a bond on the fraud case appeal is that none of the people/companies he’s approached have any confidence whatsoever that he will win that appeal. After all, if they had any confidence that he could get the judgment overturned or at least drastically reduced, then odds are they’d have no issue with fronting the money on the confidence that they’d get most or all of it back in the end. But given the shitshow that we saw at trial, all of them realize that they’re basically just giving Trump the money he needs to delay the inevitable and aren’t willing to make that deal.

If Trump gets reelected, I don’t think he lives to the end of the term.

So we all expect his son-in-law to pony up the money, correct?

I don’t think even Jared has that level of liquidity. Especially not when you consider the various reports over the past decade that his own family’s real estate “empire” is equally leveraged to the hilt and heavily dependent upon foreign “investment” just to make interest payments on existing loans.

That’s what I’m wondering. What’s big enough to get put on leave without compromising the safety of students and staff. I expect it’ll hit the news eventually.
