If those polling trends continue (knock on wood), I figure by mid-to-late September, we’ll be reading articles about interviews with anonymous but well-placed GOP insiders who acknowledge they’re facing an electoral disaster - and there’s nothing they can do to stop it.

The bigger the disaster they are facing, the more extreme their countermeasures. We know that they will not shrink before violence and chaos and I am sure they are busy planning and prepared to do what they feel they must do.
