Trump doesn’t care directly about abortion except insofar as taking a position gets him closer to power. But the pastor will absolutely lie about it because Republicans are the Party of God, don’t you see, and electing Republicans is the only way to get the country closer to Jesus.

There are many teachings of Jesus I could get behind. Republican pastors reject every last one of his actual words.
