I don’t know about you guys on that side of the St. Croix, but over here, we have a Severe Weather Awareness Week where the state schedules a tornado drill, in addition to the regular tornado siren test on the first Wednesday of the month.

Possible - a grade school couple of blocks away could have timed their drill to the sirens.
