No, thankfully we’re not sold out, but I reflexively put the room as OOO in the system to avoid it magically selling third-party before the audit runs.

What’s got me heated is that there’s no note anywhere about this. Nothing on the desk, nothing in the pass-on, not even a text or email about it. So I have no clue if this was a one-time deal or if there’s several rooms that were “checked-in” that we won’t know about until the guest shows up tomorrow or Monday morning to check out.

The lack of communication is what really sucks. That hurts more than anything else. I used to have an asshole 2nd shifter who wouldn’t bother to print reg cards for walk ins. That also screwed things up royally.
