Not a fan of horse racing.
Had a client (back in the day) who ran a racket of fixing claiming-horse races by drugging horses to run slow, conducted multi-state betting on his (non drugged) winning horses; then selling the winning horses to “investors.”
Don’t consider today’s racing to be that much of a step up. e.g. Breeding spindly legs of today’s thoroughbreds.
