Daily Kos: Armed Forces Don’t Like “Mercs”

Markos Zuniga never learned that when you’re in a hole, you should stop digging: Mercs in Iraq.

Let’s make it clear — our regular armed forces don’t like the mercs. That’s why no one responds to mercs in distress (like the four in Falluja).

Our men and women in uniform deserve all the support we can muster. They are myred (sic) in an impossible situation by a government that doesn’t know what it’s doing. They are doing the best they can. The mercs, on the other hand, choose to be in theater “looking for good money and the taste of danger”.

And the comments are immeasurably worse, as usual.

The last time Zuniga did his Uri Geller shtick he claimed that each and every one of the extra 15,000 people who visited his hole was “hate-filled.” (Looking at my Webalizer page, I see statistics for “Hits,” “Visits,” and “Pages,” but I don’t see one for “hate-filled visits.” He must be using a new application specifically for DNC blogs.) And now his mind-reading powers are telling him each and every armed forces member doesn’t like “mercs.”
