It’s quite amazing how many lefty bloggers seem to see nothing wrong with an evil-minded poll created by an obsessed stalker that basically calls me a Nazi, accompanied by a picture with my head on the body of Eva Braun. What fun!

Now Matthew Yglesias gets into the act: Matthew Yglesias: Nazi or Blogger.

I wonder if this has anything to do with my comments about Yglesias’ humiliating performance in his symposium with Victor Davis Hanson? Nah, can’t be. Compassionate, caring folks like Yglesias (who have no trouble calling other bloggers Nazis, based on a few cherry-picked, out of context comments—that aren’t even my words—pulled from a total of almost 700,000) would never be vindictive, would they?

UPDATE: One more comment about this, to those who think this is hysterically funny: you are encouraging a person who is stalking me around the web, leaving similar nasty illustrations and vicious personal slurs at Indymedia, Metafilter, and any other site that will let him/her/it. Finally he/she/it got a free, anonymous web site at Geocities, so its hatred would be easier to spread around, and then emailed the URL to every lefty blogger, posted it at Metafilter, posted it at Indymedia, and who knows where else.

UPDATE: OK, I know I’m sort of wasting my time, because the person who’s posting this accusation in Yglesias’ comments is a) dense, and b) blind with vengeful hatred. But the accusation is that this quote …

Since the media’s barrage of images of Corrie looking Caucasian and saintly has not abated, every time I cover a story about her I’m going to repost one of these photographs, unmasking the hidden face of Rachel Corrie.

… proves I’m a racist, a white supremacist, and a Nazi. Well.

As I’ve explained more than once, when I wrote this about Rachel Corrie I was referring to the blatantly racist propaganda attempt to exploit her “caucasian-ness” to get extra attention from the media. It was obvious, and it was everywhere, starting with the PLO who staged mock funerals with big signs in English expressing love for their heroic American martyr. The propaganda machine, acting from an implicit assumption that most Americans are racist, sought to exploit this prejudice—and only succeeded once again in revealing their own.

Only a “troll” with unusually high cranial bone density would take this to mean that I was saying “only a Caucasian can be saintly.”
