MEMRI has a more detailed translation of the latest bluster from “Al Qaeda” (which I suspect has become a meaningless name):

“President Bush and his ilk, the media giants, and the U.N. … all are a fatal danger to the world, and the Zionist lobby is their most dangerous member. Allah willing, we will persist in fighting them…

If not for that “Allah willing” in the last sentence, this Islamo-Marxist rant would be pretty hard to distinguish from what you’d hear at an International ANSWER rally.

BIN LADEN TAPE: “BUSH KNEW, DUDE”

The Al-Jazeera news network broadcast an audiotape today purporting to be from Osama bin Laden, offering a hudna (truce) to European nations who refrain from “attacking our lands.” The tape also claims that US President George W. Bush “KNEW, dude,” and “no blood for Hailliburton oil.” The tape concludes with an appeal for “good tickets for the Audioslave show in Portland Saturday.”

A forensic analyst at the National Security Agency said that “the voice on the tape appears to be that of bin Laden, but the text is apparently taken from a April 9 thread at Democratic Underground.”
