Islamic terrorists have killed five Westerners in Saudi Arabia: Up to Five Dead in Attack on Western Firm in Saudi.

Al-Reuters, of course, calls the murderers “militants.” Now watch as Saudi Arabia issues only the most perfunctory of condemnations; after all, no Muslims were killed this time. (This is the kind of jihad they can get behind.)

RIYADH (Reuters) - Gunmen attacked a Western engineering firm on Saturday in the Saudi oil and petrochemical hub of Yanbu on the Red Sea, killing up to five Western employees, a Western executive said.

He said the gunmen stormed the office of ABB Lummus Global, opening fire and killing up to five.

The Swiss-based company is under contract to work for the Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical company (YANPET), situated nearby.

The executive said operations at the nearby YANPET facility, co-owned by the Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) SABIC and U.S. Exxon Mobil were continuing as normal.

A U.S. embassy official said earlier at least two Americans were among the dead. Three other Westerners were also believed dead according to diplomats.

Saudi Arabia said militants stormed a Saudi contractor’s building in the city and an unknown number of foreigners and Saudis were killed, while security forces killed three of the attackers and wounded a fourth.
