The El Cerrito Democratic Club will be meeting Tuesday, June 22, ‘04 at 7:30 P.M., in the sanctuary of the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 545 Ashbury Ave., El Cerrito. After a short business meeting, we will again welcome Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, web blogger for , who will be speaking to us on The Future of the Democratic Party: Does It Even Have One? Markos is a national political consultant and rising star in the Democratic Party. He started the Daily Kos (dailykos.com) in May of 2002. In both online and print publications, his blog has been rated among the best and most successful political web blogs on the Internet today. He also started Political State Report (polstate.com) which tracks local/state political races, and helped found the Gadflyer (gadflyer.com) a new Internet journal.
