Kerry’s CO Speaks
John Kerry’s military records are finally becoming big news, as the smell of Pulitzers overcomes mainstream media reluctance to cover the story. Not even the LA Times can deny that the story has legs; today they print a remarkably even-handed and fair (for them) interview with John O’Neill: For a Top ‘Swiftie,’ This One’s Personal.
But one of the most damning articles I’ve seen yet is at National Review, by retired Rear Admiral William Schachte, who was Kerry’s commanding officer in Vietnam—and who says, in no uncertain terms, that John Kerry’s first Purple Heart was fraudulently awarded: Statement of RADM William L. Schachte, Jr. USN (Ret.).
