Moonbats Keep Digging, Howling
Would you believe there are still some hold-outs trying to argue that the forged CBS Killian memos are genuine? (If you call this “arguing.”) David Niewert is a “free-lance journalist” in Seattle, and he makes one of the most curious claims yet:
You can create a nearly identical copy with MS Word? Perhaps that’s because MS Word was designed to replicate an IBM typewriter.
As evidence for this absurd statement, Niewert links to Edward Mendelson’s article for PC Magazine, which contains absolutely no verification for Niewert’s claim. (And have a look at what PC Magazine readers thought of Mendelson’s nonsensical piece.)
Chris Pratley, a Microsoft Program Manager who began working on the Word team in 1994, certainly makes no mention of Niewert’s claim here.
But Duncan Black, with his award-winning style, seems to approve of Niewert’s inept ramble.
