Preaching Blindness at Loseweek

I read this piece by Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball at Newsweek, on the supposed radicalization of “moderate Muslim leaders”—Preaching Violence—and I ask myself, “What the hell is wrong with our media? Are they just ignorant of the facts and too lazy to dig them up, are they blinded by political correctness, or are they deliberately whitewashing radical Islam in order to smear the Bush administration?”

The answer, of course, is another question: “What’s the difference?”

In this case, the lunatic portrayed as a moderate, radicalized by the policies of nasty old violent President Bush, is Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi. The “spiritual leader” of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Here’s an LGF search on his name.

Look like a “moderate” to you?

Allah has a great post about this incredibly wrong-headed Newsweek piece.
