It doesn’t take much to fool the Chicago Tribune, who act as useful idiots for the Palestinian Authority once again: Abbas acts to rein in militants.
Right. “Abbas Acts.” That’s if you consider issuing nebulous unspecified orders the same thing as “acting.”
After Monday’s Cabinet meeting, Qadura Faris, a Palestinian minister, said Abbas instructed his security chiefs “to prevent all kinds of violence, including attacks against Israel.”
“Steps will be taken,” Faris said, adding that Abbas “has directed all the security elements that they have to begin to take action.”
Saeb Erekat, another minister, said, “A decision was taken that we will handle our obligation to stop violence against Israelis anywhere.”
Maybe they mean “act” as in “pretend?”
