Kos Kidz Go After Condi
They’re spinning them out at such a rapid pace lately, it’s getting hard to keep up with the lefty blogs’ scandals du jour. In the latest one at Daily “Screw Them” Kos, they’re all wound up about a story that they think proves Condi lied! Moonbats cried!
This time it’s a newly declassified document that shows Richard Clarke warned the White House and Condoleezza Rice of the danger of Al Qaeda in January 2001, and recommended policy reviews.
The document does not warn of any specific threats of imminent attack; it’s a general warning that Al Qaeda was a danger. Hell, even I knew Al Qaeda was a threat in January 2001. It’s hard to figure out what we’re supposed to be upset about here; are they honestly suggesting that Bush and Rice knew in advance there would be an attack and deliberately failed to prevent it? Yeah, I know; they probably are. There’s really no point in rehashing the definition of “lie” yet again (“to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive”) because it long ago ceased to matter to the likes of Daily Kos.
If the style of the Kos post linked above, divorced from reality and leaping to ridiculous conclusions based on faulty analysis, seems familiar, it’s because “hunter” is the same dishonest spinmeister who spewed venom at LGF during Rathergate, in a laughable post trying to argue by ad hominem that the fraudulent CBS memos were genuine: TANG Typewriter Follies; Wingnuts Wrong.
