WARNING! I normally refrain from posting profanities on LGF’s front page, but what follows wouldn’t make much sense if I tried to edit them out. If you have an easily irritated offense reflex, you may want to skip this entry.

Most people don’t know it, but one of the perks of running a web site like Little Green Footballs is the wonderful, picturesque hate mail you receive from anonymous human beings all over the world. Although I cherish each and every badly-spelled, punctuation-abusing, vein-popping masterpiece, I don’t really get a lot of them, compared to some bloggers.

But the Giuliana Sgrena affair has acted on these fine folks like a full moon on a crack-addicted werewolf. I’ve received more hate email about Sgrena than any other subject except Rachel Corrie.

Our first example comes from a human on AOL who used our contact form, with the colorfully false email address “fuckinusahardwithmycameldick@hotmail.com” and the charmingly antisemitic subject, “fuck JEWS and fuck da owner of this site.”

Ahem. Well.

Moving right along, we have a note from an admirer in St. Petersburg, Florida (with a Yahoo email address that might be genuine, or might belong to someone else, so I’m not going to print it), sporting the tantalizing subject line, “I Smell Something.”

Moving right along, next up is a comparatively well-done rant with only two misspelled words and one profanity, from a freedom fighter using the probably fake email address “hiddencard@hotmail.com” and the probably fake subject “Patriot.”

Dear necon zombies,

you are idiots, you are conformists of the lowest form and you are an insult to the US and free thinking. Perhaps you would be more comfortable swallowing a government provided squawk box so you can save yourselves the trouble of having to think of new ways to mirror their agenda. Go fuck yourselves you lapdogs and mouthpieces of tyranny. History will remember you for what you are, collaborators with a totalitarian regeim that is the deepest of insults to the American dream of our founding fathers you disgust me as the cowards and traitors that you are.

And … moving right along, our final example for tonight (there are more, but these are the standouts) comes from someone using an anonymizer program and a probably fake Yahoo address, with the seemingly innocuous subject line, “car photo.” Makes you want to read it, huh?

And we have a punch line to all this hilarity, because the link at the end of this freak’s email is where all of the creatures quoted above came from, according to my lizardoid tools.
