Today’s ride: 54 miles, south to the Palos Verdes Country Club circuit, down PV Drive North at 34+ mph, then back up north to the Santa Monica pier, before returning to point A. Stopped for lunch at Jody Maroni’s Sausage Kingdom, and had the chicken and apple sausage sandwich, which is, of course, simply the most delicious sandwich known to mankind.

The photo shows my black water bottle of doom, containing the dreaded herbally enhanced Orange Cytomax, posed with dramatic shadow at an undisclosed location somewhere near a beach.
