Another Lefty Blog Attacks, Misfires

TalkLeft is misrepresenting my post about Kerry’s identification of Fulton Armstrong in today’s hearing:

At least one right wing blog [LGF — ed.] is suggesting Sens. John Kerry and Richard Lugar blew the cover of a CIA operative referred to as “Mr. Smith” at today’s Senate Hearing. The person they referred to was Fulton Armstrong.

Only Fulton Armstrong has been a publicly identified intellgence officer for years. He was the CIA’s national intelligence officer for Latin America. Kerry didn’t out anything. Even the story about him being forced out of the CIA has been in the media.

Is there some kind of endemic lack of reading ability on the left? The AP article at the Guardian to which I linked in that post (as TalkLeft would have seen if they had bothered to click it) is titled: Senators May Have Blown Cover of CIA Agent.

So perhaps TalkLeft should revise their post to say that at least one left-wing British newspaper is suggesting Sens. Kerry and Lugar blew a CIA agent’s cover?

And, of course, I updated my post within the hour to make the same point that TalkLeft crows about—that Fulton Armstrong has been previously identified in public.
