The Sudanese ambassador to the United States, Abdel Bagi Kabeir, will be visiting Belmont University in Nashville tomorrow; if you’re in the area, this is your chance to confront a representative of Sudan, an Islamic state where slavery is still practiced and where hundreds of thousands of black Africans have been starved to death, or murdered by Arab militias (janjaweed) backed by the government: Sudan Ambassador Kabeir to Visit Belmont University. (Hat tip: Bill Hobbs, who points out these excellent resources for information on the atrocities in Sudan: DarfurGenocide.org and SaveDarfur.org.)
