Voting a la Francaise
The French are voting on the European Union Constitution, and polls suggest it has a good chance of being rejected.
Young Katia Volman chose a very French way to avoid feeling any regrets over her vote:
Katia Volman, a 22-year-old student, was among them, but she cast a blank ballot, saying the issues were too complicated to fully digest.
“I had so many reasons to vote ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ so I left it blank, and that way I won’t regret my decision two days later,” she said.
This, of course, is exactly how Europe ended up being ruled by a closed group of unelected elites.
