Cycle of Violence: 54 Nuclear Miles

Today’s ride: it wasn’t a time trial at the Tour de France, but I did 54 miles under the intense nuclear furnace we naively name the “sun.” Even with SPF 48 sunblock on every square inch of uncovered skin, I feel its effects. Down the crowded-as-all-heck bike path to the northern PV area, with about 3 miles of climbing in several undisclosed locations. The descent on PV Drive was fast today, with very little wind to fight; maximum speed 38 mph. Then a return to the northern end of the bike path at a medium paced cruise, gettin’ those long miles, yo.
