Ann Althouse doesn’t want to join the Pajamas Media team, and that’s certainly her prerogative.
Three inaccuracies in her post should be addressed: 1) bloggers who sign up with us do have veto power over ads we place on their sites, 2) we have two plans so that people who want to continue using Blogads can do so, and 3) bloggers do not give up visual control over their sites, any more than with Blogads.
But as Glenn points out, the advertising network is just one part of the concept: to create a blog-based media service that will extend the reach and influence of the blogosphere.

I should also mention that we have no plans at all to interfere with or control the content of blogs who sign up for the affiliate program, at either of the two levels.
