-RetweetMPACUK Uses Image from Nazi Web Site

Tue, Aug 2, 2005 at 4:31:50 pm PDT

The Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK (MPACUK) presents itself as a legitimate community representative of young British Muslims; according to their site they are “a non-profit making organisation working with the community, helping Muslims to help themselves.” Their spokesmen have appeared on the BBC, and the media seem to be taking them seriously as a group that “tries to involve young Muslims in democracy.”

And today their web site features an ugly blast of antisemitism titled: Zionists Behind Terror Attacks. (Hat tip: Paul.)

The article itself is the usual Israel-hating fare, but MPACUK has revealed their “inner Nazi” this time by featuring the following image of an evil “Jewish” monster with horns:

The image has the filename “greatsatan.jpg,” and it comes straight from the web site of the neo-Nazi magazine National Journal; whoever put this page together simply hot-linked to the image on the Nazi server.

UPDATE at 8/2/05 6:58:17 pm:

Here’s a screenshot of the page, showing the image details.

UPDATE at 8/2/05 8:37:36 pm:

Will MPACUK also be linking to pages like these?

national journal: Who Was Adolf Hitler?

national journal: Are there similarities between Jesus Christ and Adolf Hitler?

UPDATE at 8/3/05 9:07:46 am:

By the way, a reader emailed to point out that there is also a perfectly respectable magazine called the National Journal, and it’s not affiliated with the creatures linked above.
