Today’s ride: 56.03 miles, south through the beach cities and up into Palos Verdes, around the golf course, down the rapid descent of PV Drive North, then north on a different route, taking surface streets instead of the bike path all the way up to the north end, for a rest stop at a beautiful undisclosed location, where the picture at left was taken. This was a distance ride, to increase my base training level and endurance. The massive engines of hegemonic domination (aka my legs) are feeling rather depleted and oppressed at the moment.
