You Can’t Tell the Terrorists from the Human Rights Advocates
Gateway Pundit notes a report that two former Guantanamo Bay jihadis who were extradited home to Russia have been arrested—on suspicion of plotting a series of terrorist attacks.
And that’s not all.
One of them was a human rights advocate, preparing for a trip to London for a gala event featuring former Gitmo prisoners.
Airat Vakhitov, arrested Saturday, was engaged in human rights activities in Moscow, Vremya Novostei reports. He wrote articles and was working on a book about rights violations in Guantanamo, was going to travel to London for the former Guantanamo prisoners Round Table, as was Rustam Akhmyarov.
