Ghouls Plan to Desecrate Veterans Day

We’re supposed to believe that the left “supports the troops,” but events like this one, planned for Veterans Day in Los Angeles, tear away the mask of phony “caring” and reveal the true ugliness of their ghoulish agenda.

Seeking 400 pallbearers
Saturday November 12th, next to the pier at Santa Monica Beach:
At 9:00 AM — Assemble coffins (made of lightweight cardboard.)
At 11:30 AM — Free T-shirts distributed to 400 pallbearers.
At Noon — Reverent, processional march will begin, heading north on Ocean from the pier, then will make an orderly about-face at Wilshire and return to place the coffins among the crosses at the beach.

Nov 11- 13, Friday-Sunday, Santa Monica Beach by the pier.

Friday Nov 11

7:00 AM — Arlington West, the Iraq War memorial consisting of 2,000 crosses, (interspersed with crescents, and stars of David), will be set up at Santa Monica Beach in front of the main parking lot by the pier (and will remain displayed for three full days.)

11:00 AM � Flag draped coffins representing the number of soldiers killed in the past week will be ceremonially installed & displayed at the front of the memorial.

1:00 PM — Reading of the names of the soldiers killed will start and continuing at the beginning of every hour for the remainder of the afternoon. A gong will sound with the reading and passing of each name.

After several pages of names are read, Lance Corporal Jeff Key will play taps on the bugle. He will wear his dress marine blues and white gloves.

2:00 PM � Maxine Waters is invited to speak and read names.

2:15 PM � Santa Monica City Council members are invited to speak and read names. A gong will sound with the reading of each name.

3:00 PM — The Aztec dancers are invited to perform a dance in honor of Veterans Day and the Iraq War Memorial.

Before dusk — a candle light vigil will begin. One thousand candles will illuminate a field of two thousand crosses and continue burning through the night.

At dusk, Lance Corporal Jeff Key will play taps for the memorial.

After dark � a film projection of Bruce Royer’s film, A Line in the Sand, will screen outdoors on the wall of the pier next to the memorial.

Saturday Nov 12

8:00 AM � One hundred coffins will be assembled and prepared with American flags draped over each one.

9:00 AM � The public is encouraged to assist in assembling 100 coffins and preparing them for a procession on the city streets of Santa Monica.

10:00 AM � Visitors are encouraged to place flowers and a name of a soldier on a cross in the memorial. Visitors are encouraged to sign the guest book.

11:00 AM � Gold Star Families will give short speeches and invite people to join in carrying the coffins in a procession starting at noon.

Noon � Four hundred pallbearers will carry one hundred flag draped coffins on a procession loop. Gold Star Families will lead the march carrying large photos of their beloved children who were killed in Iraq. Elected officials, celebrities, veterans, clergy, and the general public are all welcome to help carry the coffins.

12:15 PM � A gong will sound slowly and repeatedly to signal the passing of each solider killed. The procession will move northward on Ocean to the intersection at Wilshire.

1:00 PM � At the intersection of Wilshire and Ocean, the coffins will be placed on the ground. In color guard formation, the march will reverse direction and proceed via the same route returning south on Ocean, back to the Santa Monica pier.

2:00 � One hundred flag draped coffins will be reverently carried to their symbolic resting place at Arlington West, Santa Monica Beach.

3:00 PM — Reading of the names of the soldiers killed will continue at the beginning of every hour for the remainder of the afternoon. A gong will sound with the reading and passing of each name.

Sunday Nov 13

Due to the two previous days of media exposure, we anticipate that families, soldiers, girlfriends, loved ones and all those affected by the devastation of the Iraq war will come out to visit the memorial today.

8:00 AM � One hundred flag draped coffins will be displayed among the memorial of markers at Arlington West.
9:00 AM � An interfaith blessing at the beach will be offered by local clergy and Native American leaders.
10:00 AM � Visitors are encouraged to place flowers and a name of a soldier on a cross in the memorial. Visitors are encouraged to sign the guest book.

11:00 AM � filmmaker Bruce Royer will screen “A Line in the Sand” (A documentary about Arlington West directed by Leszek Burzynski) Laemmle Monica 4-Plex Theatre, 1332 2nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. Gold Star Families and veterans will speak following the screening.


Noon — The theater audience will walk a few blocks south to view the memorial first hand and enjoy light refreshments with the veterans, Gold Star Families and Arlington West supporters.

2:00 PM — Reading of the names of the soldiers killed will continue
at the beginning of every hour for the remainder of the afternoon. A gong will sound with the reading and passing of each name.

4:30 PM The memorial will be disassembled and put away until next Sunday.
