Today’s ride: 51.06 miles. Broke out the full-finger gloves and doubled up on socks today, because despite the brilliant sunshine it was chilly out there by the beach. Rode down into Palos Verdes, climbed up out of Malaga Cove and took the super-secret scenic route, with an unusual fascist headwind coming out of the south and oppressing the proletariat as we headed to Hawthorne Boulevard. What a relief to turn around into that tailwind and jam back up to the north, at speeds over 20 mph without much effort.
