The server upgrade is completed and the DNS change is propagated, and it looks like we’re back in business after several hours of downtime. Here’s an open thread while I get settled in the new house.
UPDATE at 2/8/06 9:24:09 am:
As I write this, we have close to 4,000 visitors online, and the site’s running quite fast. That many visitors would have caused the old server to start complaining, so the upgrade seems to have helped quite a bit.
