The leaders take the turn (at the top of a nasty little hill we call “RAT Hill”) and prepare to head down Catalina Avenue, on the first lap of the final stage. This is right before the major crash (at 50+ mph) that took out most of the peloton. Congratulations to winner Floyd Landis, who turned in an amazing performance on a difficult course.
