Cycle of Violence: Scaling the Hills

Today’s ride: 55.64 miles, south into the wilds of primitive Palos Verdes, rolling at a medium-hard pace through that Southern Californ-eye-aye sunshine. Did a training climb around the PV Country Club on a semi-secret route that’s fairly difficult (you don’t make it without standing on the pedals), but worth it for the beautiful scenery. I can’t really call the wind “fascist” today; it was actually pretty well-behaved for a hegemonic atmospheric phenomenon, but very constant on the return trip to Point A. Leg condition: tired, sore, sure, but not as much as they will be tomorrow.

 Frank says:

Some Scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
