Ahmadinejad Will Visit Germany

You might think that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with his talk of “wiping Israel off the map” and his insane Holocaust denial, would not be welcome in Germany—of all places.
But you’d be wrong, because in the interest of being “a good host,” Germany will welcome Ahmadinejad to the World Cup soccer games: Appeasing Oppressors: A Proud German Tradition Continues.

Interestingly, Ahmadinejad had no plan to attend the World Cup.
“It is not on his agenda,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi told reporters, when asked whether Ahmadinejad was planning to support Iran from the stands in Germany.
So Germany’s “welcome” to Ahmadinejad was actually more like an invitation.
