Danish Cartoons at USC

The University of Southern California Objectivist Club is planning an event to show the Danish Mohammed cartoons, and discuss the Muslim world’s rage and the West’s obligation (an obligation it has mostly shirked) to support the fundamental right of free speech: Unveiling the Danish Cartoons: A Discussion of Free Speech and World Response. Panelists are Yaron Brook of the Ayn Rand Institute and Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum.
The USC Muslim Student Union is planning a counter-event, of course, to argue that Muslims are entitled to special exemptions from being criticized or lampooned.
