Getty Images has quite a few pictures from the Gaza beach bombing incident that haven’t made it onto the mainstream wires for some reason, including this appalling image. (Warning: graphic content.)

One image that did make it onto the wires:

Palestinian and International peace activists, wearing shirts with red painted marks to simulate blood, lay on the ground next to Israeli border policemen during a demonstration against the Israeli army artillery strike that killed eight people and wounded more than 30 when it hit a Palestinian family picnicking on a Gaza Beach, at Kalandia checkpoint near the West Bank town of Ramallah Sunday June 11, 2006. Although the caption above states it as a fact, please note that there is considerable doubt Israel is to blame for this mysterious explosion.
