AP Opening North Korea Bureau

The Associated Press is opening a new branch of their television news service, APTN, in Pyongyang, North Korea.

The bureau will be manned by three local North Koreans who “will adhere to the AP’s reporting standards.” AP’s TV arm opens bureau in Pyongyang. (Hat tip: Medgadget.com.)
