“Gunmen” versus “security forces” in Gaza: Hamas gunmen fire rockets at forces loyal to Abbas.
GAZA (Reuters) - Hamas gunmen fired rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank rockets at the Gaza headquarters of the preventive security force loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday, witnesses said.
Two people were wounded in the clash in the southern Gaza town of Rafah, which followed the killing earlier in the day of a gunman from a Hamas paramilitary unit.
Hamas accused the preventive security force of being behind the shooting. Preventive security denied the charge.
