The “armed wing” of Hamas joined the “loosely affiliated with Fatah” Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the “armed wing” of Islamic Jihad (huh?) today, and called a press conference to threaten more mass murder. Time to rewrite another headline: Palestinian terrorists scream for revenge.

RAMALLAH, West Bank (AFP) - Palestinian militant groups have severed their commitment to a de facto truce [Hah! —ed.] in anti-Israeli attacks in order to avenge “massacres” committed by Israel.

The radical Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, loosely affiliated to president Mahmud Abbas’s Fatah party and the armed wing of the governing Hamas were among those groups that delivered the announcement at a news conference in the West Bank.

Militants from the armed wing of Islamic Jihad [Now Islamic Jihad has an “armed wing” too? —ed.] and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine were also at the conference in the town of Ramallah.

“We have decided to tell the occupier ‘no more truce from today’ in response to the bloodletting our women, our children and our elderly,” Ramzi Obeid, from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, told reporters on behalf of the four groups.

“We will not suffer your repeated crimes in silence. We are going to destroy you and no one can stop us, if you do not stop these massacres against our people,” he added.
