For the anniversary of the July 7 Islamic mass murder attacks in London, the jihadists’ favorite TV channel, Al Jazeera, has released a previously unseen video recording of one of the murderers explaining that all British citizens are legitimate targets: Video of 7 July bomber released. (Hat tip: LGF readers.)

A video allegedly showing London bomber Shehzad Tanweer has been aired on al-Jazeera television.

The video was released on the eve of the first anniversary of the 7 July bombings, which killed 52 people. Tanweer, from Leeds, killed six people after detonating a suicide bomb on a Circle Line train in central London.

He says, in a Yorkshire accent: “What have you witnessed now is only the beginning of a string of attacks that will continue and become stronger.”

The attacks will continue “until you pull your forces out of Afghanistan and Iraq”, he says.

The video, the release of which was announced on an Islamist web site, included a statement from Ayman al-Zawahri, al-Qaeda’s second in command, and American Adam Gadahn, also known as Azzam al-Amriki. Gadahn is believed by US authorities to be running al-Qaeda’s propaganda operation.

In the video Tanweer refers to the non-Muslims of Britain.

He says because they voted for a government which “continues to oppress our mothers, children, brothers and sisters in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Chechnya”, then they deserve such actions.

Allahpundit digs a little further into the story: AQ flips off London on anniversary of bombings.

On a personal level, Freaking Out is a process whereby an individual casts off outmoded and restricting standards of thinking, dress, and social etiquette in order to express CREATIVELY his relationship to his immediate environment and the social structure as a whole. -- from the liner notes of Freak Out.
