The Protocols of the Daily Kos, Part 5

Israel’s battle against Hizballah and Hamas continues to bring out the antisemites at Daily Kos: Daily Kos: The case against Zionism, a historical perspective part 1.

The writer of this diary congratulates him/her/itself for criticizing Israel without being antisemitic—yet the entire purpose of this semi-literate diatribe is to question Israel’s right to exist.

I have decided to write this essay because I have noticed a general lack of understanding of the the history of the conflict on this board. This writing is intended to showcase where the philosophy of zionism conflicts with my own philsophy on morality(which I believe almost all posters on this board share), not as an angry diatribe against those who are pro Israel. I realize that reading an essay about anti-zionism is difficult for americans of jewish descent. I respect your emotional reaction to defend Israel, who are a tiny minority among the world’s population. All I ask is that you try to see things from the other point of view. My goal in this essay is not to antogonize or to blame, merely to show that the cycle of opressed becoming the opressor solves nothing, except repition of conflict.
