Tour De France Gone Wild
This year’s Tour de France is one of the oddest bike races I’ve ever seen, with no clear leaders and stunning changes in the General Classification almost on a daily basis. In today’s race, the toughest climbing day of the entire tour starting with the beyond-category 26.7 mile Col du Galibier, Floyd Landis suddenly hit the wall on the final climb, finishing more than 10 minutes behind and almost definitely out of contention for the winner’s podium: Landis cracks; Pereiro in yellow as Rasmussen takes stage.
