If you haven’t been following the Michael Ledeen-Rolling Stone brouhaha, here’s a good place to start: Power Line: Stoned. When I was growing up, Rolling Stone was on the cutting edge of alternative journalism (with all the attendant virtues and flaws), publishing amazing pieces by Hunter Thompson and P. J. O’Rourke. Now it’s just pathetic.
