A Closeup Look at Hizballah’s Weapons
LGF reader Maxim emailed the link to these photographs of a Hizballah arms cache, and I’ve added his comments below the relevant pictures.

The top picture is a Soviet Sagger anti-tank missile.

The second picture looks like a Konkurs laser guided anti tank missile. Both of these Soviet weapons are made in Iran. The latter is a last generation laser guided ATGM which would probably be able to take out a Merkava tank.

In the sixth, eighth and ninth pictures you can see a 2001 mfg TOW missile. This is a US anti-tank weapon (though made in other countries as well).

The third picture from the bottom, of the burned out rifle. This appears to be a Remington 700 police rifle and a US-made Raptor night vision scope. This may also be a copy of the US M24 sniper rifle (which are sold commercially in the States). On the right you can see an adjustable buttplate on the end of the three rifles there. This is exactly the item used on both the M24 and the Rem. 700 Police. The provenance of these rifles should be of great interest to all US security agencies. The rifle and the scope can be purchased commercially in the US.
