RetweetHizballah Supporters Rally in DC, MSM Whitewashes

Sun, Aug 13, 2006 at 9:00:54 am PDT

Age of Hooper shot this video at yesterday’s pro-Hizballah demonstration in Washington DC. Click through to his site for more pictures—and notice that he also says the rally’s attendance was much higher than media reports indicated.

In the previous post, I wrote that media’s refusal to show the truth about these demonstrators was shameful; Age of Hooper’s video and photos show just how shameful it really is. Mainstream media’s coverage of this event (and of many similar ones held recently) is a deliberate deception.

Three Texans arraigned on terrorism charges
Authorities in Michigan suspect the men bought cell phones to use to detonate bridge

Copyright 2005 Houston Chronicle

CARO, MICH. — Three Texas men were arraigned Saturday on terrorism-related charges after police found about 1,000 cell phones in their minivan, and prosecutors say they think the men were targeting a bridge connecting Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas.

But two of the men said they were only trying to buy and sell phones to make money, and one said the money was intended to help pay for his brother's college education.

Prosecutor Mark E. Reene wouldn't confirm what evidence led him to think the Dallas men targeted the bridge. He said police picked up a laptop computer containing evidence related to the charges but wouldn't elaborate.

"All I can say is that the Mackinac Bridge is the target at issue," he said. "There's reason to be concerned..."

In other DC protester news;

Cindy Sheehan, shown in this file photo from May 14, 2006, in Washington, spent the night in the hospital in Waco, Texas, for a gynecological procedure and dehydration.

Apparently, they finally located the arm of that poor DC cop (devoured during her arrest last Fall).

Well, this certainly puts the lie to all those claims that Amerikkka is becoming a police state, and destroying civil liberties!

The fact that such demonstrations are allowed---even tolerated, and whitewashed by the MSM, puts the lie to that!

Can you imagine huge pro Nazi rallies being tolerated in America, during WWII?

What the fuck are Hizbollah supporters rallying in Washington for, 3 days after 10+ airplanes and 3000+ innocent people (including women, children, babies) nearly got blown out of the sky?

Even more to the point, why is it that these people can parade around unworried that Americans will beat them to a pulp? Can you imagine a pro-Nazi demonstration in Washington in, say, 1944?

Here is my prediction on what's coming soon to an airport near you:

The Bionic Bomb

We've finally reached the point where just about every avenue of bringing weapons, explosives, and bomb components onto jet planes has been closed off to our friends, the fine upstanding terrorists of the RoP.

Here's the downside - as the LLL might say, now we've really made these people angry and (of course) deserve what we'll get. Right?

What we'll get is the islamofascists using a new, undetectible container for their bombs - their bodies.

A condom filled with C4 or other plastic explosive and detonator, swallowed like the coke smugglers do, or even surgically implanted by the Islamic version of Dr. Mengele into Abdul The Suicide Bomber's body, is coming soon to an airport near you. Guaranteed.

Hell, what's the difference to good ol' Abdul if the suicide bomb is in his vest or in his belly?

How to stop this? Two choices.

1. X-ray or fluoroscope procedure for every passenger before boarding. This of course is messy, expensive, requires training of the operator to recognize suspicious implants, may hurt people with legitimate pacemakers, etc.

This assumes, of course, that some Western-trained Pali or Paki Al-Queda doctor or engineer cannot figure out a way to hide C4 inside a pacemaker shell...Zawahiri is a doctor himself and Bin Laden an engineer, no?

versus

2. BAN THE RoP FROM OUR AIRPLANES. It's time to end the humiliation and indignities that we have to suffer at airports for the sake of political correctness and tolerance of the barbarity and psychopathology of our enemies.

Let the RoP fly its own damn planes. If they still have a compulsion to blow those up, then that's their business and bad luck.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what a lifetime of Marxist indoctrination can do to you!

Let's blank out the distinction between President Bush and Dictator Hitler.

Let's blank out the distinction between the SS and the IDF.

Let's blank out the distinction between aggression and defense.

Let's blank out the distinction between murderers and protectors.

Let's blank out the distinction between reality and paranoid fantasy.

Let's blank out the distinction between Good and Evil.

Better yet, let's not do that.

What can I say about these Barking Moonbats?

My lack of God, what a bunch of fucking idiots. These bozoids are hazards to themselves and to Humanity in General.

Reality is real, regardless of what anyone chooses to feel about it. Those who stand up in support of nihilistic mass murdering psychopath gangs such as Hezbollah or the National Socialist German Workers Party are accessories after the fact to their crimes and should be dealt with as such.

What are your questions on this block of instruction?

So, the MSM's deception include:

1. Publishing altered photographs (fauxtography);
2. Focusing coverage predominantly on the Islamofascist viewpoints;
3. Covering up for and hiding the barbaric nature of the latter from readership through omission of pictures, video, and facts altogether.

The MSM is dying, and it deserves to die a most ignoble death.

Connect the dots:

In years past, on Labor Day, the Mackinac Bridge has been the site of a "bridge walk" in which thousands of people, usually lead by the governor, hike across the span.

I don't know if one is scheduled for this year, or not. (Probably not now if there was one scheduled).

LESSONS SO FAR

HARD TRUTHS TO LEARN FROM ISRAEL'S WAR ON HEZBOLLAH

August 13, 2006 -- ISRAEL'S war against the Middle East's first true terrorist army provides tough military and strategic lessons - old, new, and all too often disheartening. Israel's been winning on the ground. And still losing the war.
This bitter conflict - in which most casualties on both sides of the border are civilians - raises troubling questions, too. Some are identical to those confronting us in Iraq. Many have troubling answers. Others have no real answers at all.

The elementary fact - which far too many in the West deny - is that our civilization has been forced into a defensive war to the death with fanatical strains of Islam - both Shi'a and Sunni. We may be on the offensive militarily, but we did not start this war - and it's all one war, from 9/11's Ground Zero, through Lebanon and Iraq, and on to Afghanistan.

Until that ugly fact gains wide acceptance, we'll continue to make little decisive progress. American or Israeli, our troops are trying. But the truth is that we're really just holding the line.

We have not yet begun to fight. And many among us still dream of avoiding this war altogether.

It can't be done. Because our enemies - Hezbollah, al Qaeda, Islamist militias, regimes in Iran, Syria and elsewhere - are determined to confront us.

We're going to learn the hard way. But we're going to learn.

Meanwhile, here's what the latest battlefield has to say to us:

LOSING GROUND

TIME TO TAKE TERROR SERIOUSLY

This is no gloomy fatalism: The challenges to the West are daunting. It's no huge stretch to imagine, 100 years from now or 15, the world turned on its head: Western dominance supplanted by autocratic Islam. Or at least locked in endless global war. By the time America and its allies realize, it may be too late.

It isn't too late yet. But the West - led, of necessity, by America - must finally avert its gaze from meaningless Qanas and Abu Ghraibs and Guantanamo Bays and re-adopt the mentality of, say, World War II.

Well, we survived this round of caniculares dies.

On this morning of August 13, two days following the return of Sirius to the sky, about 15%-20% of my nearest blood relatives remain in uniform and carrying arms in Lebanon and Gaza; three first-cousins and about a dozen of their and other first-cousins’ kids. About 95% of the rest of my blood relatives are somewhere in Israel.

My cousin and her young kids have spent the past month living in a bomb shelter, ever since Iranian Hezbollah rockets rained down on their dairy farm near Safed (one of the holiest cities in Judaism, and continually a “Judean” city for more than the past 2500 years).

“United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon” (UNIFIL) was created in 1978 after the PLO invaded Lebanon, and after Israel's first suppressive invasion of southern Lebanon, and has been there ever since. UNIFIL was established by Resolution 425 (1978); the Security Council called for “strict respect for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and political independence of Lebanon within its internationally recognized boundaries”.

In 2000, the UN Security Council concluded that, as of 16 June 2000, Israel had withdrawn its forces from Lebanon in accordance with Resolution 425.
However, Lebanon did not extend control over south Lebanon, though it was called on to do so by UN Resolution 1391 of 2002 and urged by UN Resolution 1496.
[Link: www.unhchr.ch...]

Israel had lodged multiple complaints regarding Lebanon's conduct. Ignored, of course.

Lebanon's claim that Israel has not fully withdrawn was explicitly rejected by the UN's Secretary-General's report which led to UN Security Council Resolution 1583, which calls on Lebanon to assert full control over its border with Israel. It also states that "the Council has recognized the Blue Line as valid for the purpose of confirming Israel's withdrawal pursuant to resolution 425." This measure was adopted in 28 January 2005.
[Link: www.un.org...]

The Syrian presence in Lebanon led to UN Security Council Resolution 1559 demanding the remaining 14,000 (of 50,000 originally) Syrian troop withdrawal and the dismantling of Hezbollah and Palestinian militias. Ignored, of course.

On April 26, 2005, after 29 years of Syrian military occupation in Lebanon, the last of the Syrian troops withdrew in accordance with the resolution. Armed Hezbollah and Palestinian militias, as well as thousands of non-uniformed covert operatives from Syria’s ~50 intelligence agencies, remained behind; of course.

Hey. Here’s a fun exercise: Israel had “occupied” Gaza for 39 years. First, try to find media use of the phrase “Syrian military occupation”. (Google found a total of 443 citations). Now try “Israeli military occupation” (Google found a total of 98,100 citations). 39/29= 1.35 98,100/443= 221.45. Why the discrepancy?

For six years, neither UNIFIL nor Lebanon have taken any meaningful steps to implement Resolution 1583. During this time Hezbollah, a representative of the Lebanese government (and a Syrian and Iranian proxy), not only declared an unconditional war of annihilation on Israel and began obtaining the material means to do so; it also launched missiles into Israel from Lebanon and took Israeli soldier’s as prisoners of war.

So now the battlespace has been cleared. It will be held at least until the end of this month.

In case you still haven’t figured out why, here’s one big reason why:

Does Iran have something in store?
[Link: www.opinionjournal.com...]

BY BERNARD LEWIS
Tuesday, August 8, 2006 4:30 p.m.

During the Cold War, both sides possessed weapons of mass destruction, but neither side used them, deterred by what was known as MAD, mutual assured destruction. Similar constraints have no doubt prevented their use in the confrontation between India and Pakistan. In our own day a new such confrontation seems to be looming between a nuclear-armed Iran and its favorite enemies, named by the late Ayatollah Khomeini as the Great Satan and the Little Satan, i.e., the United States and Israel. Against the U.S. the bombs might be delivered by terrorists, a method having the advantage of bearing no return address. Against Israel, the target is small enough to attempt obliteration by direct bombardment.

It seems increasingly likely that the Iranians either have or very soon will have nuclear weapons at their disposal, thanks to their own researches (which began some 15 years ago), to some of their obliging neighbors, and to the ever-helpful rulers of North Korea. The language used by Iranian President Ahmadinejad would seem to indicate the reality and indeed the imminence of this threat.

Would the same constraints, the same fear of mutual assured destruction, restrain a nuclear-armed Iran from using such weapons against the U.S. or against Israel?

There is a radical difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments with nuclear weapons. This difference is expressed in what can only be described as the apocalyptic worldview of Iran's present rulers. This worldview and expectation, vividly expressed in speeches, articles and even schoolbooks, clearly shape the perception and therefore the policies of Ahmadinejad and his disciples.
Even in the past it was clear that terrorists claiming to act in the name of Islam had no compunction in slaughtering large numbers of fellow Muslims. A notable example was the blowing up of the American embassies in East Africa in 1998, killing a few American diplomats and a much larger number of uninvolved local passersby, many of them Muslims. There were numerous other Muslim victims in the various terrorist attacks of the last 15 years.

The phrase "Allah will know his own" is usually used to explain such apparently callous unconcern; it means that while infidel, i.e., non-Muslim, victims will go to a well-deserved punishment in hell, Muslims will be sent straight to heaven. According to this view, the bombers are in fact doing their Muslim victims a favor by giving them a quick pass to heaven and its delights--the rewards without the struggles of martyrdom. School textbooks tell young Iranians to be ready for a final global struggle against an evil enemy, named as the U.S., and to prepare themselves for the privileges of martyrdom.

A direct attack on the U.S., though possible, is less likely in the immediate future. Israel is a nearer and easier target, and Mr. Ahmadinejad has given indication of thinking along these lines. The Western observer would immediately think of two possible deterrents. The first is that an attack that wipes out Israel would almost certainly wipe out the Palestinians too. The second is that such an attack would evoke a devastating reprisal from Israel against Iran, since one may surely assume that the Israelis have made the necessary arrangements for a counterstrike even after a nuclear holocaust in Israel.

The first of these possible deterrents might well be of concern to the Palestinians--but not apparently to their fanatical champions in the Iranian government. The second deterrent--the threat of direct retaliation on Iran--is, as noted, already weakened by the suicide or martyrdom complex that plagues parts of the Islamic world today, without parallel in other religions, or for that matter in the Islamic past. This complex has become even more important at the present day, because of this new apocalyptic vision.

Does Iran have something in store?
[Link: www.opinionjournal.com...]

...In Islam, as in Judaism and Christianity, there are certain beliefs concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time--Gog and Magog, anti-Christ, Armageddon, and for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of the Hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces of good over evil, however these may be defined. Mr. Ahmadinejad and his followers clearly believe that this time is now, and that the terminal struggle has already begun and is indeed well advanced. It may even have a date, indicated by several references by the Iranian president to giving his final answer to the U.S. about nuclear development by Aug. 22. This was at first reported as "by the end of August," but Mr. Ahmadinejad's statement was more precise.
What is the significance of Aug. 22? This year, Aug. 22 corresponds, in the Islamic calendar, to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to "the farthest mosque," usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1). This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind.

A passage from the Ayatollah Khomeini, quoted in an 11th-grade Iranian schoolbook, is revealing. "I am decisively announcing to the whole world that if the world-devourers [i.e., the infidel powers] wish to stand against our religion, we will stand against their whole world and will not cease until the annihilation of all them. Either we all become free, or we will go to the greater freedom which is martyrdom. Either we shake one another's hands in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom. In both cases, victory and success are ours."

In this context, mutual assured destruction, the deterrent that worked so well during the Cold War, would have no meaning. At the end of time, there will be general destruction anyway. What will matter will be the final destination of the dead--hell for the infidels, and heaven for the believers. For people with this mindset, MAD is not a constraint; it is an inducement.

How then can one confront such an enemy, with such a view of life and death? Some immediate precautions are obviously possible and necessary. In the long term, it would seem that the best, perhaps the only hope is to appeal to those Muslims, Iranians, Arabs and others who do not share these apocalyptic perceptions and aspirations, and feel as much threatened, indeed even more threatened, than we are. There must be many such, probably even a majority in the lands of Islam. Now is the time for them to save their countries, their societies and their religion from the madness of MAD.

Mr. Lewis, professor emeritus at Princeton, is the author, most recently, of "From Babel to Dragomans: Interpreting the Middle East" (Oxford University Press, 2004).

In his brilliant book, "Hitler: The Fuehrer and the People," J.P. Stern wrote:
"...not conquest but indiscriminate annihilation was his aim. This, rather than any heroic self-asertion or the prospect of material gain, emerges as the secret that bound his followers to him..."

And that is what binds the followers of Islamofascism to their leaders. Suicide-bombings trumps nation-building every time.
Negotiate? Sign pieces of paper? as meaningless as Chamberlain's claim of "peace in our time."

There weren't any sand storms in D.C. that day, why the kifeyyahs then, unless it is to intimidate?

To a Westerner, and Jews in particular, their wearing of this symbolic head covering is as terrifying as a hooded Klansman is to a black American. It has no practical purpose as clothing in the verdant mid-Atlantic. I am sure they could argue it is a cultural display. BS. If I had the time and was still single and childless, I would wear an IDF uniform to their protest and let the chips fall were they may. Then we would see who is peaceful.

Someone needs to retain David Horowitz (does he still practice?) or some like-minded person who is a member of the D.C Bar and file a complaint. First they need someone to walk in to an office and voluntarily express having an issue with these cretins. Anyone out there witness this who felt threatened? Find an activist lawyer and seek to file against ANSWER for sponsoring such a blatantly hateful action.

Now, everybody chant,"Arab Supremacists go away, your Kifeyyahs smell like the KKK"

whoops! Lost the top of my post. Sorry for the repost.

I read the first paragraph.

I will read the rest in a bit.

I fear fedayeen, and terrorists of all varieties. They have the image of a covered Arab fighter all over the world on posters, banners, etc. along with proclamations to do harm and violence to others. That precedent exists as an exhibit towards an argument of the intimidating meaning of their attire.

I have informed well over 1000 people, myself, of LGF, and the fact that the deception, distortions, and outright lies, although may not necessarily be at an all time high, as I am certain this has been going on for decades by the leftist msm, and the msm is finally getting questioned about it, and most of the people that I talk to want to see the msm seriously investigated.

It's amazing, of many of the people who I talk to, and encourage them to check out LGF, they don't stop talking the next time that I see them, and I can't get a word in edgewise, because once someone with the capacity to accept Truth sees Truth, they immedietly become informed, and if we all do our part, we truly can make a difference!

Charles Johnson has proven, that when anyone who truly wished and searches for the Truth, it can and will be revealed, and I thank you Charles, you are an outstanding American Patriot, who truly loves the USA, and the rest of us Lizards!

It is amazing, indeed.
I had the same experience with all the intelligent people I know.

And the contrary is amazing too: those who DON'T have that capacity can be exposed to WHOLE NEW WORLDS they never suspected existing...and still they keep rolling on the same old tracks they have been set upon by the nihilistic dictatorship we live in.

Reading about Joe McCarthy recently, I came across mention of a law known as the Smith Act of 1940:

[Link: en.wikipedia.org...]

The Alien Registration Act or Smith Act (18 U.S.C. § 2385) of 1940 is a United States federal statute that made it a criminal offense for anyone to "knowingly or willfully advocate, abet, advise or teach the duty, necessity, desirability or propriety of overthrowing the Government of the United States or of any State by force or violence, or for anyone to organize any association which teaches, advises or encourages such an overthrow, or for anyone to become a member of or to affiliate with any such association".

Sounds like there were Constitutional problems, a lot of convictions were overturned. But the law apparently is still on the books. I wonder if the Constitutional problems can be tightened up and used against organizations who not only advocate and teach such actions...but actually do it.

I was wondering about that article myself. Given the recent arrests, I wondered if that's what the Iranians had in mind. And if so, were the Iranians in on it.

From this page and the main page, I'm getting this message when it's loading:

This page is accessing information that it not under its control. This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?

I'm not getting that message from any other of the most recent topics.

What's up with that? When I click "No", the page continues to load, so I'm presuming that the at-risk content is being skipped.

I have had my first cyber attack!

Good I think it iether from china. Thought it would be Arabs in the gulf.

I guess dont like what I said about chineese communist coming to America the same way the crap heads in the pictures abouve are here. We let this trash come to our land then they protest like this? Skrew them!

There are two schools of thought about dealing with dictatorships.

One is to open ourselves up to them in the hope that the dictators will see how much better it is to be a free democratic society. To this end we allow students to come here, our business to go there and travel both ways allowed. China, Saudi Arabia and almost all of the world’s killer states enjoy this foolish policy. They play us for dupes. Only Cuba and North Korea are completely excluded from us with a small number of others variously restricted. Yet for the most part we have our guard down.

The other school of thought says we should try with all means necessary to isolate the worlds dictatorships and ultra-encourage relations with democracies.

I got more on my site, its slow due to the attack but do try,
thanks

85 DP111  Sun, Aug 13, 2006 3:35:55pm
Washington (CNA) -- Recent reports indicate that Hezbollah is using Christian villages to shield its attacks against Israel.

According to Christian Solidarity International, Hezbollah is hiding among civilian populations, mostly in southern Lebanese towns, such as Ain Ebel, Rmeish, Alma Alshaab.

Launching attacks behind human shields is in violation of the Geneva Convention's provision for the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts, which prohibits the use of civilians as military shields.

This is not a new strategy for Hezbollah. Col. Charbel Barka, a former South Lebanese Army commander, says Hezbollah is repeating what it did in attacks against Israel in 1996.

A Christian from the village of Ain Ebel, who requested to remain nameless for fear of a reprisal from Hezbollah, reported that he found Hezbollah fighters setting up a launcher on his rooftop. Hezbollah fighters ignored his pleas to stop and fired the missiles. He immediately gathered his family and fled his home, which was bombed 15 minutes later by an Israeli air strike.

Unless the source for the face-covering law has typoed the law, or unless it has been updated since 2001, the source in my comment #34 states DC code:

" D.C. Code § 22-3112.3(b) prohibits wearing anything to conceal your face and identity "only if the person was wearing the hood, mask, or other device:
(1) With the intent to deprive any person or class of persons of equal protection of the law or of equal privileges and immunities under the law, or for the purpose of preventing or hindering the constituted authorities of the United States or the District of Columbia equal protection of the law;
(2) With the intent by force or threat of force, to injure, intimidate, or interfere with any person because of his or her exercise of any right secured by federal or District of Columbia laws, or to intimidate any person or class of persons from exercising any right secured by federal or District of Columbia laws;
(3) With the intent to intimidate, threaten, abuse, or harass any other person;
(4) With the intent to cause another person to fear for his or her personal safety, or, where it is probable that reasonable persons will be put in fear for their personal safety by the defendant's actions, with reckless disregard for that probability; or
(5) While engaged in conduct prohibited by civil or criminal law, with the intent of avoiding identification."

Shameful that these idiot inbred 'protesters' in Washington weren't stomped by passing tourists. What's it going to take to wake the U.S. up?

The whitewashing by the press is consistent with the news coverage in the Middle East. This link gives credit to LGFs and points out some of the innacuracies.
