A portrait of evil.

I'm not surprised at the media making this evil man look reasonable. They did it with Hitler too...although we seem to forget that.
I have some pre US involvement in WWII Life mags that attempt to show Hitler as a great art connoiseur and praise his taste in furnishings.

The same issue both praises the Brits' courage AND shows a staged set of pics of a German soldier callings hos parents to boast about his success in blowing up a Brit ship.

Nauseating then, nauseating now.

Wallace is such a tool, but denial will continue right up until all out warfare

Denial will continue well past that. The leftisis in this country will continue to undermine war efforts even if the war came (again) to our shores. Even if Islamists were holding a sword to the throat of America and had begun sawing away, leftists would still aid and comfort them. They have been dedicated to "bringing it all down, man" for so long, that they will help anyone to do it, even if what will be built in its place is 1,000 times worse. Leftists don't think that far ahead. Perhaps it's because they don't (for the most part) have children?

You are correct, sir! From their website:

C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide public access to the political process. C-SPAN receives no government funding; operations are funded by fees paid by cable and satellite affiliates who carry C-SPAN programming.

I am torn on how to respond to this news.

On the one hand, we'll get to see how a professional journalist (spit) works--or doesn't work, as the case may be. It isn't clear how uncut this will be. Surely they will use the various camera angles to go back and forth between speakers, but I still feel as if parts of it may be left out. Even so, it will demonstrate to all of us how a professional journalist (spit) thinks an interview should be handled. This could be almost as insightful as the news article about APTN.

On the other hand, I really hate giving Ahmadinejad another venue for spewing his insanity and hatred. He's had his fifteen minutes of fame. Enough, and begone.

Others have pointed out that this may be his chance of telling the US to convert and that he will then feel free to bomb us indiscriminately. I feel this isn't far from the truth.

Plenty of the ones I've met do have kids, and I think it is some sort of weird denial in all but the hard-core turbo lefties. These people truly are deluded enough to feel that if we are under no threat and we can all just "Give peace a chance" (I'd like to smack whoever came up with that nutty phrase..as if peace were possible with bellicose communists or islamofascists).
I've heard them refer to this threat as over hyped and just not real. They are easily seduced by any argument that bolsters this denial. It's actually comforting for them to think that our OWN gov't is the problem, as that can be changed in elections. The prospect of something that is hard to change seems to overwhelm them and they change the subject or get shrill. I think there's fear and panic under the conspiracy theory denial facade

NOTE TO ISRAELI JEWS:

I'm an American first, but have been interested in Israel since at least 1991 and have tried to follow it as closely as possible without being Jewish or knowing anyone living in Israel. I'm far from an expert.

I will tell you in my opinion, and mind you it's only my opinion, far and away the most impressive Israeli leader I've witnessed is Benjamin Netanyahu. I heard him give a speech in San Antonio 3-4 years ago and he was most impressive. A wonderful orator.

I understand the man has had some personal issues but as a spokesman, he does the Jews very proud. I would listen to him if I were Jewish and living in Israel. I have found his advice and predictions to be right on the money. For that matter, the U.S. leaders including G.W. Bush should be listening to him too.

C-Span is a wholly owned, operated, and funded organization of a consortium of America's Cable Companies. It receives ZERO money from the government.

C-Span is the free marketeer's answer to PBS. Remove the bias, remove the congressional district handouts(taxpayer money to fund local PBS affiliates), and remove the government and the results are drastically improved.

You're right: it's classic denial and displacement of Fear onto a more manageable Object. They will cling to this delusion as long as humanly possible. There were Jews in Nazi Germany who hoped, right up until they were in line for the gas chambers, that it really was a communal "shower" they were in for.

Hello everyone, I'm Troy McClure for CSPAN.

Coming to CSPAN: Tired of all those boring Senate resolutions, hearings and other inane drivel from wacked-out leftists spewing pablum to slumbering college students?

Well, CSPAN now brings you Mahmoud Uncut, Unexpurgated and Undressed.

See the genocidal Iranian madman let it all hang out with his plaything, the almost-likelike Mike Wallace.

Come see behind the scenes as Mahmoud hits the clubs in Tehran, has sweaty gay sex with Hugo Chavez, pimps his ride and does a steamy 69 with Wallace himself.

Watch as a befuddled Wallace, when asked if he wants to do a 69, says he wistfully remembers 1945 and asks who ordered the veal cutlet.

TiVo up, get the popcorn ready. Mahmoud Unexpurgated is da bomb!

Why all of a sudden does it feel like October 1938 - the month Neville Chamberlain landed on the tarmac runway back home proclaiming "Peace in our time"? Never mind the fact that Czechoslovakia was stripped of the Sudetenland, and was about to be stripped of Czechoslovakia itself. Rather than waving a scrap of paper proclaiming peace, Chamberlain was waving a death warrant with the name 'Czechoslovakia' emblazoned all over it, and his own barely-dried signature upon it.

So forward we go 68 years to 2006 and replace 'Czechoslovakia' with 'Israel', and 'Chamberlain' and 'Daladier' with 'Bush' and, 'Rice', with no prizes for guessing who gets to play the roles of Hitler and Mussolini.

These so-called 'peace terms' were foisted upon Israel by the Bush administration, cornered by a salacious antisemitic Western Press and MSM, and a supine terrorist-loving UN. Israel has become their sacrificial lamb. All that has happened is the sparing of a terrorist outfit for another day and another time to attack Israel with new and more terrifying weapons. This will be the price of Western expediency - the second Holocaust.

Had Churchill been around today, he would be 132 years old, and bristling at this repeat of Munich. He would have certainly been reminded of these words which he used to greet Chamberlain on his return to the Commons:

"We have sustained "a total and unmitigated defeat." There has been "gross neglect and deficiency in our defences." We were weighed in the balance and found wanting."

Yes, we were certainly weighed in the balance and found wanting. And its repercussions could be every bit as bad as the repercussions of Munich. Ahmadinejad and the Islamic terrorists now know how shallow we have become. They know that we won't look after our own. They see us as a ripe cherry ready for plucking, and our civilization ready to be consigned to that great dustbin of history, alongside the Byzantine Empire. They know that what they demand, they'll get just like a spoilt child. Likewise, our leaders are doing us, and themselves no service by parrotting the "Islam is a religion of peace" mantra, instead of facing up to the truth Winston Churchill or John Quincy Adams-style like “The religion of Islam above all others was founded upon the sword … Moreover it provides incentives to slaughter, and in three continents has produced fighting breeds of men – filled with a wild and merciless fanaticism” or "The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force", and telling it as it is - that it is indeed a demanding and intolerant faith of barbarianism, backwardness, misogyny and prejudice which believes that infidels should be put to the sword if they refuse to convert to Islam. Its time Muslims were held accountable for what they do and held to the same standard as what we hold ourselves here in the West, and stopped this patronising and damaging attitude of "they don't know what they're doing" and "we must have done something wrong to deserve atrocities like 911." Dr Andrew Bostom's book "The Legacy of Jihad" ought to be required reading amongst every Western President, Chancellor and Prime Minister as a warning of what their citizens can expect should Islamism triumph.

Seven percent of British Muslims consider their primary identity to be British, 81 percent consider it to be Muslim. By comparison, in the most populous Muslim nation on the planet, 39 percent of Muslim Indonesians consider themselves Indonesian first, 36 percent consider themselves Muslim first.

For more than four years now, I've been writing about a phenomenon I first encountered in the Muslim ghettoes of the Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries in the spring of 2002: Second- and third-generation European Muslims feel far more fiercely Islamic than their parents and grandparents.

That's the issue: Pan-Islamism is the profound challenge to conventional ideas of citizenship and nationhood. Of course, if you say that at the average Ivy League college, you'll get a big shrug: Modern multicultural man disdains to be bound by the nation state, too; he prides himself on being un citoyen du monde.

The difference is that, for Western do-gooders, it's mostly a pose: They may occasionally swing by some Third World basket-case and condescend to the natives, but for the most part the multiculti set have no wish to live anywhere but an advanced Western democracy. It's a quintessential piece of leftie humbug. They may think globally, but they don't act on it.

The pan-Islamists do act. When they hold hands and sing "We Are The World," they mean it. And we're being very complacent if we think they only take over the husks of "failed states" like Afghanistan, Somalia and Lebanon. The Islamists are very good at using the principal features of the modern multicultural democracy — legalisms, victimology — to their own advantage.

The United Kingdom is, relatively speaking, a non-failed state, but at a certain level Her Majesty's government shares the same problem as their opposite numbers in Beirut: They don't quite dare to move against the pan-Islamists and they have no idea what possible strategy would enable them to do so.

So instead they tackle the symptoms....

Down here in Dixie Land, we've made our stand. This country is too precious, it's earth is fertile, and it's natural wonders too glorious to be overrun by the likes of a lying, vicious pipsqueak like amahadijihadi and his violent theocracy, women haters with barbaric laws.

Down here in Dixie Land, we treasure our way of life, easygoing, friendly, kind, We treasure our family, we love them and wish for their joy and happiness, not their suffering and death. We don't like folks who sacrifice their babys. Who are always sliting throats and raping women. They are evil and we must protect ourselves from them. Oops, I forgot to say to Spiritof1683 that was a good post.

The missing ingredient in this devil's food cake is the lack of understanding of the islamic doctrine. They aren't trained in unitary or western logic as we know it but in a dual ethic defined by 'us and them' Their whole existence is regulated by customs and laws they can't deviate from. They by their own admission can lie, cheat, steal, rape and murder in their holy cause of bringing us all to allah and mo. We should know why and what this means, learn all the dimensions of their box, for this is the only way they can think.

Its a job to understand an enemy that is so completely foreign to us but we must and we will. It means our lives and the lives of our loved ones. But I think when we understand more we'll see that we'll win because they have to think in a box and we don't.

Mo was a great commander-in-chief. He's the only one I know that set up a perpetual war machine that has lasted for 1,400 years. Looking at his success, we should at least study his strategy and tactics. The good news is its all there in the koran, the hadith of bukhari and the sirah, the ever present cease- fires for one's advantage, the weapons named for a sacred victory battle, the deception and propaganda of the media, mo's tricks never change.

Mike Wallace says "I'm Jewish by heritage and certainly by feeling, but not a particularly religious or pious Jew."
He isn’t a particularly a moral person either. He is also an admirer of Jew haters, or so it would appear. He interviewed Khomeini, a person who likened Jews to vermin and tried to kill as many as possible. Khomeini then set an entire nation to his way of thought so successfully that Iran, ounce an ally of Israel is now it mortal enemy. He had a nice sit down with Arafat in 1989 where he all but did a broke-back mountain with him.

And the jewel in his self-hating crown is his most recent interview with the thing that calls itself Iran’s president, a Hitler redux who genuinely (not figuratively) wants all the Jews dead. So did ya take one for the team and lunge at him with a knife during the interview?

Journalism (blogging too) is, and always will be, a fight between the forces of truth and those who propagate lies. It is the never-ending "good" fight we all join as we take up the pen(or keyboard). We either choose the path of disengagement from the battle, thereby committing the sin of nonparticipation. Some choose to live a life of hate and lies as these "journalist" do. Or we can select the hard but noble path of speaking truth, countering lies and not backing down.

Also got him to admit that there were thousands of suicide bombers waiting to detonate if we attacked iran. But of course, muslims always exaggerate or lie so who knows how many and exactly where. Time to find out.
