Islamic Supremacist on Tucker Carlson

Tue, Aug 15, 2006 at 5:15:21 pm PDT

Stephen Spruiell at National Review’s Media Blog has a video capture of radical Islamist lunatic Azzam Tamimi, trying to appear sane on Tucker Carlson’s show and failing miserably: Meet A Guy Who Thinks The British Terror Plots Are a Hoax.

And good on Tucker, for holding this snake’s feet to the fire. Wait. Do snakes have feet?

Like I was saying
You're just labeling him an extremist because he thinks the terror plot was a hoax.
His reason? The Pakistanis cannot be trusted to tell the truth... no evidence, but you know, who can trust Pakistanis? Quick, look at the little birdie over here!

HE makes the differences between Islam and Baha'i PAINFULLY clear! No, Tamimi, I'll devote my whole life to the Glory of God, thank you! NO head-hacking, NO supreme people, NO mullahs or imams, NO misogynist sexism...

Classic nutjob - such that even Tucker Carlson gives this guy enough rope to hang himself (metaphorically).

It's 1938 all over again.

I met a profesor of economics who met Hitler personally while visiting Germanyfro England, in abt. 1934. Said he seemed very rational and was interested in what the people of England were saying about him.

He also said that if he'd had known then what Hitler would do, he'd have shot him on the spot.

Iraqi Shia holy city will form local militias: official
The proliferation of local militias will amount to another nail in the coffin of the Iraqi national unity dream that US policymakers continue to chase. Could the Iraqi Shi'ites be emboldened by the utter lack of accountability (not to mention its survivial in the first place) that Hizballah has enjoyed thus far? From AFP:

NAJAF, Iraq - The deputy governor of Iraq’s Shia province of Najaf said Tuesday that local militias will boost the region’s security after a recent suicide bomb attack killed 35 people.
"We started today forming a committee in Najaf to choose individuals who will control security in their neighbourhoods and keep an eye on all suspect movements in their areas," deputy governor Abdul Hussain Abtan told AFP.
It becomes clearer later in the article that "committee" is a euphemism for "militia.""This will be done in collaboration with security forces in the city and is the first step in activating popular committees."
Abtan belongs to powerful Shia party, the Supreme Council of Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), whose chief Abdel Aziz Al Hakim had called for setting up such committees after the bombing on Thursday.
Last week, Aziz demanded the right to inaugurate the rule of popular committees in areas to give people a chance to defend themselves. His demand was echoed by the movement of Shia radical leader Moqtada Sadr.
Both groups want to form Shia self-defence committees, a move that would undermine the authority of Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki, who has vowed to disarm militias

. This is what both Syria and Iran were talking about when they said President Bushs dream of a new me is dead...Iran gives orders to SHIA..NOT IRAQ.. [Link: www.jihadwatch.org...]

I think Tucker failed to nail the bastard when he said that he should not judge the people who when oppressed turn to terrorism.

Tucker should have asked if the muslims who plotted to blow the planes over the Atlantic were being oppressed in Britain.

15 cbinflux  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:32:05pm

Funny, he feels exactly the same about intelligence contractors in the region as we do about news contractors there.

16 rorschach  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:33:25pm
Of course there are terrorists everywhere, only not islamic.

Muslims are flipping idiots. May they continue to illustrate that fact so convincingly.

/Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a racist. I'm really covering up for the Methodists.

17 calcajun  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:34:29pm

Sigh.

This ceasfire is so depressing. I am reminded of Churchill's words on learing of Chamberlain's trip to Munich to carve up Czechoslovakia for Hitler.

"[Chamberlain] had a choice between war and shame. He chose shame. He will get war, later."

The parallels between the late 30's and today are amazing and terrifying. Amazing in the proof that history repeats itself - especially when we refuse to learn its lessons.

Terrifying in that our country needed a Pearl Harbor to rouse it from its complacency - from being 50-50 isolationist/interventionist in the War in Europe. I no longer look at 9/11 as our generation's Pearl Harbor - more as the sinking of the destroyer the USS Rueben James by German U-boats - a regretable tragedy, but really not worth going to all out total war. Terrifying in that what scale of attack will be needed to make us take the same ruthless measures against Iran and North Korea as we took against Germany, Italy and Japan.

Great observation with the eyes, these media apologists for terror just have become so comfortable with death. Those eyes resemble sharks or those zombie kids in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

As for snakes and feet, at least there are no Snakes on a Plane. - thanks to British/Pakistani/US intelligence. That was due to happen today (Euro time) - right? 8/16

Damned Neturei Karta. Wikipedia notes:

The people who operate under the Neturei Karta name, guided by Rabbi Hirsch, have been excommunicated by other anti-Zionist Haredim. In fact, they will not be counted in a quorum of ten men required to say certain prayers in a synagogue. Hirsch is considered to be a "wicked" person by many in the Haredi Jewish community.Despite their extreme views on Zionism, the great majority of Haredi Jews, including the Satmar movement, have never aligned themselves with Israel's enemies.

In 2002, during Israel's "Operation Defensive Shield", the Israeli military captured numerous documents [2] from the headquarters of Arafat which demonstrated that Rabbi Moshe Hirsch was on Arafat's payroll and received payments totaling $55,000.

In other words... if it's dressed in ultra-orthodox clothing and protesting with haters, you're looking at a fraction of a fraction of moonbats.

"Estimates of their membership range from 5,000 to less than 1,000." That's 0.036% at the high end and 0.0071% at the low end.

20 concernedUCIstudent  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:37:12pm

Can anybody make out the identities of the (I'm assuming) Neturei Karta members in the YouTube video of this guy showing support for terrorism? If I could have even one confirmed identity, it would be great. The UCI MSU loves to host Neturei Karta, and this might help nail them to the wall.

21 rabidsquirrel  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:39:23pm

Sadly, I read an opinion column in the Dayton Daily news just yesterday by Gwynne Dyer espousing pretty much the same view. Another thing Islamofascism and its apologists have in common.

#14 Almostout

This is an important point that needs to be answered when these whackjobs bring it up.

If "oppressed people" indeed "struck back at their oppressors," hey, I'm hip to that jibber jabber, daddy-o.

But somehow that scene don't jive with walking into a school bus and setting off the 30 pounds of TNT you've painstakingly shoved somewhere dark and stinky!

WHOA! I am SO not down with that!

Not to mention kidnappings for ransom, sending bombers to schools and hospitals, random rocket and mortar attacks on population centers...

In other words, that "oppressed people" jive talk don't fly! If Israel was truly such an oppressive force, then why don't they just nuke the rest of the ME to spite? Why do Islamic terror groups keep attacking them, if their responses are so brutal?

Those scum know they can depend on the West in general, and Israel in particular, to respond in a certain way - which is why the terrorists hide themselves amongst civilians. They wouldn't do that if they didn't know that WE DON'T TARGET CIVILIANS!

What would be the point of hiding amongst civilians if your enemy targeted civilians? None. What would be the point of bombing the enemy's children if the enemy didn't value their children? None.

And why the Double-F-Word do our media and political whores even tolerate serious discussion of the demands and speeches of terror group leaders?

The root cause of terrorism is its success. Don't submit to terrorists - the cost may be high in fighting them now, but the future cost of submission is far higher.

25 brent  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:46:27pm

Wow. That video of Goebbells, er Tamimi on YouTube should be mandatory viewing for anyone that has to see him on CNN / MSNBC.

Without that context, you might not
recognize him as the maniacal, jihad inciting creep he really is.

You probably would, but it's too great a risk. Remember that face and his rhetoric.

There will be a test later.

26 Junior  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:47:24pm

Actually Charles, snakes USED to have feet. Until one tempted Eve... then God took them away. They still have hip bone remnants as of today.

And thus ends today's lesson on Genesis.

Terrifying in that what scale of attack will be needed to make us take the same ruthless measures against Iran and North Korea as we took against Germany, Italy and Japan.

Very terrifying in that the Japanese set their sights on a military target at Pearl Harbor. We know that the Islamo-facists tend to go after civilian targets.

29 WrathofG-d  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:50:05pm

A VERY BIG UP TO TUCKER.

HE PERFECTLY CALLS THIS GUY ON HIS B.S. POINTING OUT THAT HIS ARGUMENTS EVEN BETRAY THEMSELVES.

(ie: All attacks are faked by the UK and US then, all the attacks that happen by Arab/Muslims are justified because of UK & US foreign policy)

WELL DONE TUCKER! VERY VERY VERY WELL DONE!

30 really grumpy big dog johnson  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 3:50:25pm

That is the kind of two-faced duplicity that we always get from these idiots.

You shouldn't speak of Islamic fascism because those who perpetrate horrific acts of terror are not "mooslims".

It's all about the grievances, they wouldn't tear you to pieces if you hadn't slapped them after they gang-raped your daughter.

I've had it with these people since SO many years ago.

Speaking of nutjobs, I heard this Kevin Barrett guy on the Medved show today.. apparently, and I bet you didn't know this, muslims have never ever attacked or killed anyone... ever. It's all a big CIA plot, in conjunction with the Mossad and Bush Inc. under the auspices of RoveCo. and Cheneyburton LTD.

9/11? Bush & CIA
Bali bombing? CIA
Daniel Pearl beheading? Mossad
Munich massacre? Rove in a ski mask.
Moorish invasion of Spain? Haliburton project (war for olive oil)

I can't even begin to fathom how a person becomes that stupid. And this guy lectures at the U. of Wisconsin on our dime.

Just heard on the radio news that no countries have committed peacekeeping forces yet. Great! This is all just a breather so that Hezzies can get resupplied with more missiles. This is a joke.

Then of course Drudge has an article that says the Israeli military was suffering from shortages due to underfunding.

And this guy lectures at the U of Wisconsin on our dime.

Even worse, he lectures at the U of Wisconsin on my dime. As a citizen of the Badger state, I help pay this lying scumbag's salary.

Barrett is glorying in all the publicity he's garnered in the past two months and now to apprars regularly on radio/TV talk shows and in public lectures (his public appearance here in Milwaukee was a moonbat festival). The ironic thing is that he was virtually unkown until a conservative talk show here in Milwaukee featured a live interview with him.

39 kansas  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 4:44:15pm

If enough of these nutjobs get TV spots they will start to sound normal. Already some people believe what they say.

40 funkyfantom  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 4:45:47pm

I find Tucker Carlson's performance to be more of a C plus rather than the A plus that everyone else is giving him.

He unnecessarily concedes many of the bullshit points that Dr. Jihad brings up, and fails to
challenge at all many other lies.

America is bombing and killing Iraqi civilians. Israel is an oppressive occupier. Blah, blah.
Carlson lets it all slide.

The only point Carlson seems to hammer home is that there is no excuse for terrorism, and that
America's and Israel's bad deeds don't justify
blowing up airliners.

Carlson has his job because he is good-looking and can talk articulately under pressure. Obviously, he is preferable to the legions of liberal airhead talking puppets kissing the asses of scum like Dr. Jihad, but
his knowledge is very superficial. This is why I don't watch TV.

Well, in all honesty, if roving criminal gangs were creating mayhem in the U.S., and the government was powerless to stop them, I would expect to see citizen militias step up to the plate.

(Of course, the term "citizen militia" probably has different connotations in the U.S. vs. Iraq.)

Hate to say it, but it increasingly looks to me like Iraq is going to splinter. And why not? It was always an artificial country, with its borders arbitrarily drawn up by European imperialists, just like many African countries.

Give the Kurds their own country. They've been pretty solid U.S. allies, and God knows they deserve a state of their own more than the Paleoswines.

Plus it would really piss off Iran and Turkey. Bwahahahaha.

Hi Daisy...I did the same thing and was just stunned. This needs more publicity...these islamists will excuse any atrocity committed by muslims and paint them as victims. Utterly vile and despicable. I do not believe anything said about islam that is positive any more. There is absolutely no excuse for the way islamic terror is whitewashed and explained away and many of us are going to die for it. This is Nazism on an even larger and more sinister scale.

54 Lady of Shalott (ylreveb)  Tue, Aug 15, 2006 6:54:40pm

This creep gives me the fantods. He does more wriggling than an earthworm on a fishhook. And it's as good a demonstration as I've seen of the difference between Western thinking and what passes for it in the fanatical moslem mind. The Westerner tries to ascertain FACTS, to adduce EVIDENCE, to find out what actually happened.

The moslem terror symp, on the other hand, cares not a fig for such things. He just keeps changing the subject, endlessly. Flinging poo, endlessly. Throwing as much as possible, cynically figuring some will stick. His whole aim is to win at any cost. Rules, schmules! Facts, schmacts!

How can such a creature ever be civilized? obey the rule of law? live in peace with his fellow humans? He values none of these things.

He will not.

How dare he! I don't make a distinction between Judaism and Zionism ... and I am a Jew. How dare he -- a non-Jew -- presume to state what is or is not Judaism.

Funny how Muslims insist that only they can define Islam ... but then they dare to attempt to define another religion. I wish someone would challenge them on it.

Three Texans remain held in Big Mac case

Tuscola County stands by charges against men; advocates in the Arab community urge release.

Paul Egan / The Detroit News

Three Texas men arrested in Michigan with about 1,000 cellular telephones and photos of the Mackinac Bridge in their van remained in jail in Caro on terrorism-related charges Tuesday as advocates stepped up pressure for their release.

Maruan Awad Muhareb, 18, of Dallas, and brothers Adham Abdelhamid Othman, 21, and Louai Abdelhamied Othman, 23, both of Mesquite, Texas, are expected to appear in Tuscola County court today, charged with collecting or providing material for terrorist acts.

The FBI has said it has no information linking the men to terrorism and Michigan State Police Director Peter Munoz dismissed the idea the three were plotting to blow up the landmark bridge linking Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas.

Still, Tuscola County Prosecutor Mark E. Reene issued a statement standing behind the 20-year felony charges he brought Saturday.

"Evidence and information exists to support the charges that have been authorized," said the statement from Reene, who did not return phone calls.

Nabih Ayad, the Dearborn Heights lawyer representing the three men, filed an emergency motion Tuesday seeking bond reductions and the men's release but said he did not expect a hearing on his motion before today."I am quite surprised" the men have not been released, said Ayad, who was also unable to contact Reene on Tuesday. "I do anticipate some type of dismissal very soon."

Ayad has said the men were buying the large stock of cell phones to resell for a profit and the photos of the bridge were tourist photos.

Ala Mustafa, a cousin of the men in Mesquite, Texas, said the men would never have been charged with terrorism if they were not of Middle Eastern descent.

A civil lawsuit against the prosecutors is likely if there is evidence the men's civil rights were violated, Mustafa said.

Reene, whose statement cited the experience of Caro police officials and consultation with federal and other agencies involved in the investigation, said "all decisions relating to these cases have been and will continue to be guided by an objective view of the evidence."

The American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee issued a statement Tuesday calling for the immediate release of the men.
