Solomonia has a report on the Lightstalkers forum for professional photographers, where the comment thread about Tyler Hicks’ “Pieta” photo reveals a “profession in crisis and denial.”
Here’s a previous LGF post about Lightstalkers during the Reuters Fauxtography scandal, when one of the photographers revealed that he had personally witnessed the unearthing of bodies for propaganda pictures during the Hizballah war. At the time I wrote:
