Here’s the latest on the Jim Webb brouhaha: Audio: Webb responds to Smutgate charges on WaPo radio.
Just wake me up when the campaign is over. The underhanded and sleazy tactics coming from both parties, augmented by the blatant agenda journalism of the mainstream media, make this one of the most unpleasant elections of recent memory.

I’m being facetious when I write “wake me when it’s over,” of course. As ugly as this campaign has been, I don’t want anyone to get the idea I advocate staying in bed on election day. Even if you’re not voting for, but against, you still need to get out there and vote as if your life depends on it. It may.
