With Laura Ingraham sitting in for Bill O’Reilly, Robert Spencer confronts a spokeswoman for the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Edina Lekovic—who lies about the Koran and says Spencer wants to “drive all Muslims into the sea:” Video: Robert Spencer talks Islam with Laura Ingraham on O’Reilly.
Here’s the Koranic verse MPAC’s Edina Lekovic tried to deny:
Fight against such of those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe not in God nor in the Last Day, who do not forbid what God and His apostle have forbidden, and do not embrace the true Faith, until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued. —Koran 9:29
At one point during the show, Laura Ingraham praised Lekovic as a true “moderate.” Apparently, blatantly lying about the Koran and throwing around hateful straw man accusations doesn’t disqualify a Muslim for the “moderate” label.
